The ruling All India N R Congress(AINRC) today celebrated the sixth anniversary of the formation of the party.
Party president and chief minister N Rangasamy hoisted party flag at the party head quarters here,distributed sweets and paid floral tributes to the decorated portraites of national leaders in the party office.
His cabinet collegues,legislators,Lok Sabha member R Radhakrishnan, and party functionaries among others participated in the function.
Later,talking to newspersons ,the chief minister said that the administration is taking all steps to set up a welfare board for the unorganized sector labourers.He said that pension would be provided to 14760 new old age and widow applicants.
He said he is satisfied with the performance of his government and added that people are lauding the performances of his government.The aspirants to contest the next elections on AINRC ticket would submit their applications only after the announcement of election dates ,he said adding that an alliance would be decided only after that.
